Over the course of development, various issues have arisen. These have frequently been resolved by making sure the latest versions of the operating system, browser, and other components were installed.
Download these one at a time in this order to confirm if the problem is resolved.

Windows 95 and Windows 98 needed the DCOM update to properly deal with distributed components.
- Internet Explorer 5.5 SP 2 (English) Internet Explorer 5.5 SP 2 (Japanese)
Microsoft provides a web page to download updates to your operating system and applications. However, it only works for Internet Explorer 5 or higher. We recommend version 5.5 service pack 2.
- Critical Windows Updates
This provides more than just critical updates, however, it is important that you have all the critical updates downloaded for your own security and ensuring current software runs properly.
- WScript Updates
In order to detect if the software is already installed, the setup program for SSMT2000 uses WScript. Make sure you have the latest version. This will likely remedy issues you may have trying to install SSMT2000.
- MDAC 2.7
Many programs access various forms of data. Microsoft's Data Access Components are part of Microsoft's plan for Universal Data Access. Bandwidths.XML is a table which SSMT2000 accesses using data access components.
- XML Parser
Because we use the XML format to store our frequency information used to create the PFT files, it is important to make sure you have the latest version of the XML Parser.
