Maziar Shahabi

Tes Haile
Maziar Shahabi joined Phoenix's Research and Development Department in March to write embedded data acquisition and signal processing software for the Phoenix MTU, RXU and V8 products.

Born in Iran, Maziar immigrated to Canada in 1984. After completing his Electronics Technician degree, Maziar started a software consulting company. Much of his work was in the audio and video field, working with recording studio equipment and consulting for professional musicians across Canada.

Maziar returned to school in 1996, graduating from the University of Toronto in 1999 with an Honours B.Sc. in Software Engineering. The next few years he spent working for software companies in New Hampshire and Texas, using a wide range of software tools and languages.

Maziar is married to Giti and has a three-year-old son. We welcome Maz
